I'm sad this morning to report the death of playwright Alex Buzo, from cancer at age 62. His plays included Coralie Lansdowne Says No and Rooted. Buzo, who wrote extensively about the language (including a popular book on tautologies), is remembered in Brisbane for the controversy surrounding Norm and Ahmed which led to the arrest of an actor for using an obscenity.
